Don Bell

Don Bell

Don Bell grew up in Middle Tennessee surrounded by horses, livestock and wildlife. Naturally, he developed an eye for evaluating conformation of the animals whose images filled his young life. A graduate of West Texas A&M University, Don developed his own style, using mostly graphite on a wide range of surfaces: fiberglass, canvas, clayboard, and a variety of papers. His work has been featured on the covers of such magazines as The American Quarter Horse Journal, America's Horse, Superlooper magazine, and the American Paint Horse Journal. Mr. Bell is an active AQHA Director. Also, he serves on the Guns and Roses committee for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, formed to help promote and produce the young artist art contest at the stock show. He resides in Weatherford, Texas with his wife Joetta and brand new baby girl, Trinity Carol Bell.
