Rick Jackson
Rick’s thirty years of sculpting has been a continuous learning curve. Other than his participation in a limited number of workshops and his endeavor to understand human and animal anatomy, he is self taught. His commissions include the Texas Cattle Feeders Association, Cutter Animal Health, The Bayer Corporation and St. Anthony’s Hospital.
Rick’s outdoor sculptures can be seen at Southwestern Adventist College in Keene, Texas; the Cultural Affairs Center and Hendrick Medical Center, both in Abilene, Texas; Lovers Lane Methodist Church in Dallas; Clark Gardens in Mineral Wells, Texas; Briscoe Museum in San Antonio and at Jacksboro High School in Jacksboro, Texas. He is currently working on a second life size sculpture for Clark Gardens in Mineral Wells, which will include seven life-size figures.
