Bettie Haller, better known as B. Haller, was formally educated in art at Texas Tech University but attributes all her real training to her father, Palmer Chrisman, noted Hill Country and bluebonnet artist. Bettie fell in love with the “cowboy and his horse,”and painting the two in various types of terrain has been her focus ever since.
Bettie was a feature artist in Southwest Art magazine. Eight of her paintings are on Leanin’ Tree’s line of Christmas cards, and nine have been published by Happy Valley Greeting Cards. She was a feature artist in Accent West and Grain Producers News, and her art has been published on the cover of True West magazine. She has also been included in Contemporary Western Artists, a textbook of investment grade art.
Her work can be found in prestigious public buildings and private collections across the state and country.
