Lisa Perry is a life member of the American Quarter Horse Association; she and her husband have ranched in Montana and bred Quarter Horses for 40 years. Many of Lisa’s designs have been used by AQHA for awards, and her monumental works of horse sculptures are featured at AQHA, racetracks and farms throughout the country.
She has won numerous awards over the years, including the George Phippen Family award, Best of Show and the Award of Excellence from the American Academy of Equine Artists. Currently, Lisa is teaching sculpture classes for the American Academy of Equine Art in Kentucky and Texas.
Her latest large sculpture of Quarter Horse trainer Jack Brooks, eight-time All-American winner, was installed at Remington Park in Oklahoma and Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico. Lisa and her husband George live in Springtown, Texas, where she has her studio.
