Prospect To The Top earns Supreme Race Horse title.

Champion Prospect To The Top has earned his AQHA Supreme Race Horse title.

The 2011 champion 3-year-old colt returned to racing in 2012 and in five starts won three races, including the Zia Park Championship (G1) and The Championship at Sunland Park (G1). With those, he has earned the prestigious AQHA Supreme Race Horse title. His race record is 10 wins, five seconds and two thirds in 22 career starts and earnings of $924,150.

The Supreme Race Horse award recognizes a racing American Quarter Horse who during his or her career earns $500,000 or more, wins two or more open Grade 1 stakes races and at least 10 races. Prospect To The Top becomes the 31st to earn the award since it was created in 2002, and the 102nd horse to earn this award in total (the remaining horses were awarded retroactively).

Prospect To The Top is owned by Joel Tavarez of Odessa, Texas. The 4-year-old stallion by Coronas Prospect out of the Easily Smashed mare Cream To The Top was bred by Sue May of Fort Stockton, Texas.

Prospect To The Top is a 2012 champion nominee in the category of aged stallion. The winners will be announced January 16 at Heritage Place in Oklahoma City, and the ceremony will be broadcast live at www.aqharacing.com and www.qracingvideo.com. This year, Prospect To The Top will stand his second season at stud at JEH Stallion Station-Texas.
