Visit AQHA during the 2013 Cattle Industry Convention and National Cattlemen's Beef Association trade show.

The 2013 Cattle Industry Convention and the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Trade Show is February 6-9 in Tampa, Florida. AQHA is proud to support NCBA through joint educational seminars tailored specifically for producers of cattle and horses.

The NCBA annual convention is the oldest and largest convention of the cattle industry. This event is an excellent opportunity for AQHA members to network and watch exciting ranch horse competition.

During the convention, AQHA members are encouraged to stop by the AQHA booth to find out more about the latest happenings in the Association, get help on AQHA paperwork, or renew memberships and American Quarter Horse Journal subscriptions. Plus, learn how you can get involved in the AQHA Ranching Heritage Program.

The NCBA Cattlemen’s College kicks off at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, with special sessions on reproductive technology and a session on low-stress cattle handling with Curt Pate. Then stick around for a night full of cowboy fun and watch the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge demonstration during the Pfizer 20th Anniversary Reception. Enjoy the excitement of these cowboys and horses showing off their skills as partners in reining, cow work and roping. Don’t miss this entertaining night of ranch horse activity by the bay!

AQHA Ranching Council members Stan Weaver and Jim Hunt will conduct a series of seminars on Wednesday, February 6, during the NCBA Cattlemen’s College program. These seminars by Weaver and Hunt, along with all the other available topics, are geared toward helping today’s producers.
