2013 AQHA Convention Report
The 2013 AQHA Convention held in March, in Houston, is the annual business meeting of the world’s largest equine breed registry. This quick review introduces the 2013-14 AQHA Executive Committee, which for the first time in AQHA history features two female members – AQHA President Johne Dobbs and new Member Sandy Arledge. Orren Mixer – Artist of the American Quarter Horse
Orren Mixer is the artist of the American Quarter Horse. This talented Oklahoman painted many American Quarter Horse legends including Go Man Go, King, Leo, Peter McCue and Wimpy. The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum is showcasing some of his outstanding works in a special exhibit sponsored by the Dogwood Foundation through July 27.
