Don't miss the one-hour special sharing stories of the American Quarter Horse on October 21 and 27.

Great American Country Television, GAC-TV, will be airing a one-hour special sharing stories of the American Quarter Horse and how it shapes lives at 2 p.m. CDT Sunday, October 21, and at 8 a.m. CDT on Saturday, October 27.

The special, “AQHA the Ride,” shares four American Quarter Horse stories: A look back at the famous rodeo horse, Gills Bay Boy, aka “Scamper”; Ride On Center for Kids, R.O.C.K., located in Georgetown, Texas, which changes lives with equine assisted therapy; Haythorn Land & Cattle Co. of Nebraska, the inaugural AQHA Best Remuda Award winner; and country music star and AQHA life member Lyle Lovett, who has a passion for reining.
