November 16, 2010
Winner of six consecutive races, A Spring Snow is the 2-1 morning-line favorite in Friday's $75,000 Pfizer Starter Allowance Challenge Championship at Fair Grounds. The 350-yard race for 3-year-olds and older horses that had raced for a claiming tag of $5,000 or less is part of the 18th Bank of America Racing Challenge Championships, the season-ending championship event of AQHA's purse and bonus awards program.
A Spring Snow, a 5-year-old gelding by This Snow Is Royal, races for trainer Abraham Jaquez of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The gelding earned a spot in the Fair Grounds race by winning the Pfizer SunRay Park Starter Allowance Challenge. In his career, A Spring Snow has won 10 of 32 races and has earned $112,627.
