Race Record: Premier Ethics has never gone to post without stopping by the winner’s circle on her way back. In her most recent trip, the undefeated sorrel filly by Ethics Aside qualified to the All American Derby (G1) with the eighth-fastest clocking of :21.567.

Breaking from Post 8 and lugging in badly, she still won by a neck over Grade 1-placed Bodacious Eagle.

The filly’s trial victory pushed her earnings into six figures, now at $101,064 with seven wins from seven starts. After breaking her maiden in her only race as a freshman, on December 26 at Hialeah Park near Miami, Florida, Premiere Ethics romped through six consecutive wins, including the March 3 Sunshine State Derby at Hialeah Park and the May 30 Juno’s Request Stakes (G2) at Remington Park, her last start prior to the August 23 All American trials.

Breeder: Premier Ethics is the only horse bred by Rogelio Martinez of Miami. He also owns the likes of stakes winner Thunder O Toole ($76,869) and Hez Fastforthecash ($79,781).

Owner: Double A Ranch of Doral, Florida, owns 12 starters, who have earned $319,527. In addition to Premier Ethics, their stable also includes stakes winner JC Lil Rose ($52,232) and stakes-placed runners Ivebeenrotten ($25,109) and String Bet ($34,679).

Trainer: Jorge Gonzalez has trained 44 starters since 2011, with his stakes winners including Heza Door Prize, winner of the 2012 Sterlie Bertram Memorial Stakes (R), and runner earnings of more than $140,000.

Jockey: Yordanis Amaro began riding in 2010 and since then has $1.8 million in mount earnings. He rode Premier Ethics to win the Juno's Request, and also Daytona B to win the 2014 Adequan Derby Challenge Championship (G3).

Pedigree: Premier Ethics is the first winner from two starters by Ethics Aside ($136,344), a graded stakes-winning son of champion Mr Jess Perry who in his final career race finished third to champion Rylees Boy in the 2012 Bank of America Challenge Championship (G1) at Prairie Meadows.

Bred by American Quarter Horse Hall of Famer Joe Kirk Fulton, Premier Ethics is out of Fulton’s Grade 1-winning Reckless Dash mare Daring Difference (G1), who is out of Fulton’s blue hen Beduino (TB) mare Bedawee and ran in Noblesse Six’s All American Futurity (G1). A full brother to the stakes-winning mare Sweet Oblivion ($455,704), Ethics Aside is owned by Jorge Gonzalez’s M And D Racing Inc. of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Premier Ethics is the first winner from two starters out of the unraced Reeds Dash mare Poker Pot Dash.
