Fair Meadows at Tulsa will cease live racing, reports the Tulsa World.
The newspaper reports that a deal struck Thursday with the Muscogee Creek Nation includes a provision to close racing at the racetrack, which has run every year since 1989. The simulcast facility at the racetrack is also set to close in January, the World says, but may stay open if operated in conjunction with another Oklahoma racetrack.
