Unbeaten Five Bar Cartel was the big mover in this week’s AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Top 10 Poll for 2-year-olds, rising all the way to No. 2 following his win in the Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1) at Los Alamitos. Now 3-for-3 to open his career, he sits only behind Heritage Place Futurity (G1) winner Big Biz Perry in the national rankings.

Five Bar Cartel was not the only juvenile to crack the top 10 as Unchangeable moved to No. 7 this week following his hard-luck second in the Ed Burke. Unchangeable led every step of the 350 yards except the last while losing by a narrow nose.

As for the older horses, the top 10 remained pat this week with Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1) hero Rylees Boy dangerously holding onto the top spot by just a single point, 92-91, over Remington Park Invitational Championship (G1) winner Priceless Feature. Single points also separate spots 3 and 4, as well as 5 and 6, in contentious balloting as summer racing begins.
