Stakes winner and Grade 1 producer Hiclass Girl died June 21.

The 1984 mare, owned by Jo Rice of Pryor, Oklahoma, was a daughter of Zevi (TB) out of the Mighty Deck mare Desirae.

Hiclass Girl raced 18 times from 1986 through 1988. She won the 1986 Shebester Futurity and Heritage Place Futurity (RG2), both at Blue Ribbon Downs. She also finished second in Florentine's 1987 World’s Championship Classic (G1) and in the 1988 Rainbow Silver Cup (G1). In 1987, she was a finalist in the Rainbow Derby (G1) and Heritage Place Derby (RG2), and was a finalist in the 1988 World’s Championship Classic (G1).

Hiclass Girl earned $402,220 in her career with a career high speed index of 104.

As a broodmare, Hiclass Girl has produced seven winners from 13 starters. Among them are A Chick Of Class (by Chicks Beduino, $161,824), who like her mother won the Heritage Place Futurity (when it had become a Grade 1).

Hiclass Girl also produced stakes-placed runners Hiclass Cloned (by Royal Quick Dash, $13,250) and Hiclass Juliette (by Chicks Beduino, $20,159).

Her daughters are also stakes producers, including A Chick Of Class, the dam of Grade 1 winner First In Class DBS (by First Down Dash, $80,227), and Hiclass Cloned, who produced Restricted Grade 1 winner Hiclass La Jolla (by Streakin La Jolla, $349,118).

Hiclass Girl was bred by Doyle Rice, and she was a full sister to All American Futurity (G1) runner-up Elaina Rae ($380,113), who is the third dam of recent Ruidoso Futurity (G1) winner Cartel Quick ($317,100).
