Trained by Paul Jones, the homebred daughter of Corona Czech will be going after her second start of the year and her second stakes win after winning the $268,200 Kindergarten Futurity (G2) last year. To be ridden by Ramon Sanchez, Blackberry Czech’s last victory came by a half-length against allowance competition on August 10. The Arizona-bred will be going after her fifth win in nine starts.

Manuel Lorenzana’s Secretly Hot won the Governor’s Cup Futurity (RG2) last year and she’s been a major stakes finalist throughout her career. She won the Holiday Handicap at the end of 2012 and so far this year she’s qualified to the La Primera Del Ano Derby (G3) and Governor’s Cup Derby (RG2).
