Louisiana Stud has opened in Franklinton, Louisiana.
Noe and Starla Martinez have established Louisiana Stud, a 100 acre facility northeast of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
'We are accepting mares for year-round care on our premier pastures and accepting a limited number of yearlings for groundwork," Noe Martinez said.
The farm was previously a Thoroughbred-racing facility for many years in the Folsom, Louisiana, area where many top Thoroughbreds were trained, including Grade 3 winner Malagra.
The premier facility includes 100 acres of rolling sandy loam pastures, private paddocks with loafing sheds and automatic waters, barn with turnout paddocks, racing barn, stud barn, a 5/8 training track with rail, 300 yard straightaway and four-horse gates, a covered horse walker and enclosed round pen.
Horsemen and women are invited to come by and visit the farm located at 11492 Willie Garrett Road, Franklinton, Louisiana.
Noe can be contacted by calling 903-366-6235 or Starla at 903-666-6291, or visit their website.
