The top of this week’s AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Top-10 polls remained firm with Cold Cash 123 the unanimous No. 1 among the older horses and BP Cartels Alibi still solidly the leading vote-getter among the 2-year-olds. Both polls did see some minor shuffling underneath, however.

Among the older horses, pollsters flipped No. 3 and No. 4 this week, as Rylees Boy leaped El Aquila Real by a narrow 66-63 margin for the third spot behind Cold Cash 123 and Llano Teller. As for the juvenile rankings, PJ Chick In Black swapped the No. 7 and 8 placings with Interesting Man this week by a 37-33 margin in balloting. Pollsters also returned PYC Kant Katch Me to the rankings at No. 10 this week after he was scratched at the gate of the Heritage Place Futurity (G1) two weeks ago.

Both polls figure to see a major shake-up following this weekend’s Grade 1 Ruidoso Futurity and Derby in New Mexico. Krash Cartel is the fastest qualifier to the Futurity and this week sat just outside the top-10 poll by a single point in the balloting. Executive Brass rates the fastest qualifier for the Ruidoso Derby.
