The Racing Officials Accreditation Program (ROAP) and North Dakota Horse Park are pleased to announce a ROAP Certificate Program will be held at the Fargo, North Dakota, track May 8-10, 2014.
The ROAP Certificate Program is a program consisting of general
education for all officials and job-specific modules geared toward each
specific racing official position. Each participant will focus on the
following racing official positions:
The goal of the ROAP Certificate Program is to provide an intermediary step toward full ROAP accreditation or to provide those who do not wish to be fully accredited shorter, job-specific courses that result in earning a racing official certificate.
The ROAP Certificate Program is a day and a half program, consisting of a half day of general education and one day of job-specific modules geared toward each specific racing official position. The course concludes with a short assessment and the granting of a certificate to those who complete the course.
Two sessions will be offered. The first session begins May 8 at 2 p.m. and concludes May 9 at 5 p.m. The second session begins May 9 at 8:30 a.m. and concludes on May 10 at 12 p.m. The sessions will contain the same content. To reserve your spot, please sign up by May 2.
