No Racing at Los Al on Easter Sunday

Los Alamitos moves El Primero and La Primera races.

Los Alamitos Race Course will not race on Easter Sunday, April 8. The La Primera Del Ano Derby (G3) and El Primero Del Ano Derby (G2) have both been moved up one night ahead on the racing schedule as a result of this change in schedule.

The La Primera Del Ano, which will feature fastest qualifier This Boogie Fires, will now be held on Friday, April 6, while the El Primero Del Ano will be contested on Saturday, April 7. The El Primero will feature a trio of runners from the barn of trainer Dan Francisco that will include fastest qualifier New Look plus Willie Dasher and Jess Dapper.
