The AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Top 10 Poll is well under way, with both the 2-year-old and 3-year-old and older horse polls active. Taking a closer look at both of the polls, there were 39 total horses that received votes. This year, the horses with votes have raced in California, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Three months into the freshman season, the top 10 horses in the 2-year-old poll have started an average of 2.4 times and won their races 75 percent of the time. They have earned a combined $1,313,042 in those starts. It is notable that six of the horses sold at public auction, and the median price of those horses was $11,600. The average price, greatly affected by the six-figure Coronado Cartel, was $61,583. Of the remaining, three are homebreds, and one was a private sale.

On the 3-year-old and up list, three horses (PJ Chick In Black, Remembering Spence and Brace For Bernal) are 3. The remaining horses are older, with Rylees Boy, age 8, the most senior of the horses. Of the older horses, Brace For Bernal has earned the most this year ($121,729).

The following stallions had multiple horses on both the 2-year-old and 3-year-old and older polls, including all horses that received votes: Corona Cartel (3), Feature Mr Jess (3), Furyofthewind (2), No Secrets Here (2), PYC Paint Your Wagon (2).
