As many of our members may know, according to published reports, the U.S. Justice Department, together with other federal authorities, raided various properties, barns and track stalls owned by or representing Tremor Enterprises, including Zule Farm in Lexington, Oklahoma. According to the article, Jose Trevino Morales is the owner of Tremor Enterprises, which raced All American Futurity winner Mr Piloto and champion Tempting Dash. On Tuesday, June 12, Mr. Trevino and several associates were taken into custody.

AQHA’s foremost concern is the welfare of all horses involved. Given that the judicial process has clearly just begun, AQHA does not yet know what the outcome of Tuesday’s events will be or how the events might impact AQHA-related matters. We will closely monitor the developments in the case and will work with members, if any, who may be impacted by these unfolding events.

The alleged actions of the individuals referenced in published articles are not representative of tens of thousands of AQHA members, horse owners and trainers who participate in this popular, regulated and family friendly sport.
