Ruidoso Offers Free Admission to Firefighters

Track gives thanks to those who battled Little Bear Fire.

All firefighters, responders and anyone else who helped battle the Little Bear Fire near Ruidoso can receive free admission to the All American Turf Club on any day of the upcoming Friday through Monday (June 22-25) racing week.

For free Turf Club admission, call Ruidoso Downs reservations at 575.378.4140 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and mention the Little Bear Fire. Grandstand admission is always free and no reservations are required.

“We want to show our appreciation to the many brave men and women who served so honorably in fighting this devastating fire,” said Ruidoso Downs’ general manager Shaun Hubbard.

The free Turf Club admission is co-sponsored by Ruidoso Downs and Billy The Kid Casino with the Ruidoso Downs Racetrack Chaplaincy.

First post time each day is 1 p.m. and there is free parking daily at Ruidoso Downs.
