Ruidoso Offers Twitter Updates

If you want Ruidoso Futurity (G1) and Ruidoso Derby (G1) trial times as fast as anyone on the planet, you now can by following the Ruidoso press box (@RuiPressBox) on Twitter.

The Ruidoso Downs summer season starts next Friday with the daylong trials to the $600,000 Ruidoso Futurity and then the trials for the $800,000 (est.) Ruidoso Derby will be contested on Saturday.

The times of the top-three finishers in each trial will be tweeted within two minutes after they are approved by the Ruidoso Downs stewards. This will be about 20 minutes before the race chart is posted.

Also the leading entrants to the Ruidoso Futurity trials and Ruidoso Derby trials – probably champions Ochoa and Feature Mr Bojangles – will be tweeted after entries are taken on Sunday and Monday.
