SS Samson, son of Corona Cartel and Grade 1 winner First Prize Robin, will enter his first year at stud in 2013. He will stand at 89 Animal Clinic in Willard, Utah. Owned by Dr. Clay Robinson D.V.M., 89 Animal Clinic specializes in equine reproduction. SS Samson will stand for an introductory fee of $750.

SS Samon's sire Corona Cartel SI-97 ($557,142) is the leading living sire of race earners with earnings of over $39.8 million. His dam, First Prize Robin SI-103 ($295,147), by Mr Jess Perry, won the 2006 Remington Park Futurity( G1) and was a finalist in the Ruidoso Futurity (G1). First Prize Robin is the dam of six starters, five ROM winners including Stakes Winner SS Calender Girl SI-97 (3 wins in four starts at 2, 2012, $36,096).

SS Samson’s second dam First Prize Dash SI-101 ($77,465), a Grade 1 finalist and former broodmare of the year, is a full sister to world champion and all-time leading sire, First Down Dash SI-105 ($857,256). She is the dam of five stakes winners and four stakes-placed including First Prize Leesa SI-106 ($488,270), First Carolina SI-106 ($415,047), First Prize Robin SI-103 ($295,147), Fast First Prize SI-102 ($244,929), Heza Fast Dash SI-103 ($136,123), First Prize Perry SI-102 ($243,946), First Prize Paris SI-108 ($92,910), First Prize Timber SI-102 ($56,018), etc. First Prize Dash is the dam of total race earners of $2,255,097.

SS Samson broke his maiden in his first start, winning at Louisiana Downs by 1 ½ lengths and earning his ROM. He stands 15.1 hands and weighs 1,200 pounds.
