Trainer Paul Jones reports that jockey Ramon Sanchez, who qualified both One Dashing Eagle and Aha Moment to the All American Futurity (G1), has decided to ride Jose De La Torre-trained One Dashing Eagle in the final.

Jones revealed to that jockey Saul Ramirez Jr. will pick up the mount on Aha Moment, who qualified as the seventh-fastest qualifier for the $2.4-million Labor Day event.

Aha Moment is by No Secrets Here and was bred in Texas by Joe Kirk Fulton. Owned by Jimmy and Marilyn Harrel, the colt was a $29,000 purchase at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale.

Aha Moment is one of four starters, all winners, out of Harrah’s Entertainment Derby (G2) winner Thrill And Grace ($142,178). Thrill And Grace is out of the stakes-winning Easily Smashed mare Dela Creme Smash ($123,267), who produced the earners of $657,869, including Grade 1 winner Victory Defined ($177,495).

One Dashing Eagle has won three of four starts this season including the Grade 1 Ed Burke Million Futurity for owners Jose and Gustavo De La Torre and San Gregorio Racing Stable Inc. Jose De La Torre also handles training duties.

The Allred Brothers bred the son of champion and leading first crop sire One Famous Eagle in Arizona from the Grade 3-winning First Down Dash mare One Sweet Dash. She is the dam of five winners and three stakes winners, including Golden State Million Futurity (G1) winner One Sweet Jess ($953,937).
