Sandy Downs officials are gearing up to kickoff their 2012 meet August 18. The 11 days of live horse racing at the Idaho Falls racetrack will continue through September 30.

The 2012 condition book, stall applications and stakes nomination blanks are available at idaracing.com. Nomination deadlines have been extended for the IdaBet Open Poor Boy Futurity. Horses must be a maiden and have a 79 speed index or less or with trials scheduled to be run Sunday, August 19.
