Hialeah Park

Hialeah Park Casino is ready to usher in a new era at the historic racetrack as the slot machines have arrived and as the grand opening of the casino quickly approaches. Hialeah Park, which opened in 1921, is looking to become the premier venue for South Florida entertainment as they unveil the new casino this summer.

Hialeah Park owner John J. Brunetti purchased Hialeah Park in 1977 and envisioned carrying on its long and storied history. During its glory days, the halls at Hialeah Park were graced by Winston Churchill, John F. Kennedy, Frank Sinatra and many others. With the arrival of the slot machines, the Brunetti family is proud to announce that today marks the day where Hialeah Park turns the corner towards bringing the “glam” back to the property.

Hialeah Park President John Brunetti, Jr. said: “We have been listening to the South Florida public and have done extensive market research to provide our customers with the greatest in entertainment, dining, and casino gaming. As an example, Hialeah Park Casino will house more of the very popular Diamond Lotto slot machines than any other pari-mutuel casino in South Florida.”

The team at Hialeah Park has been working aggressively to enhance the customer experience that has always been the trade mark of this storied property. Recent news from Hialeah Park Casino announced exclusive signings of tropical musical stars including Hansel y Raul, Carlos Oliva y los Sobrinos del Juez, Roberto Torres, 3 de la Habana, and others.

VP/Director of Gaming Steve Calabro said: “Hialeah Park Casino was designed around the customer’s experience. Our customer centric approach will ensure that we will have the latest and greatest in slot machines available for the South Florida public. Furthermore, as director of gaming I personally guarantee that Hialeah Park Casino will offer bigger payouts than any other casino in Florida.”

Hialeah Park is currently undergoing a major transformation which will bring a gorgeous new casino and will revitalize one of South Florida’s gems. Hialeah Park’s renovation, which is just Phase 1 of a bolder future plan, will showcase a casino that will house 882 slots, 20 poker tables, electronic blackjack, electronic roulette, and 3 domino tables along with a variety of lounges, cafes and restaurants. Construction crews are currently working around the clock to unveil the casino this summer.
