The $20,000 Sonoita Ranchers Bonus Challenge is set for May 4.
The condition book for the two-day meet in Sonoita, Arizona, is now available. The meet is run by the Santa Cruz County Fair and Rodeo Association and is set for May 3-4.
The richest race of the meet is the $20,000-added Sonoita Ranchers Challenge Stakes on May 4, which is part of the Bonus Challenge presented by Markel for Bank of America Racing Challenge-enrolled horses. The 350-yard race is for 3-year-olds and up. The meet will also feature the $4,600-estimated Sonoita Derby and $12,000-estimated El Moro de Cumpas Stakes.
