Southwest Stallion Station Adds to Lineup

Tempting Dash remains in lineup, Flyingwitheagles joins stallion battery.

Champion 2-year-old colt Tempting Dash will remain at Southwest Stallion Station at Elgin, Texas, for the 2013 breeding season for a fee of $5,000.

Flyingwitheagles, a full-brother to four-time champion Heartswideopen is joining the stallion station's roster for a fee of $1,250.

Tempting Dash, a son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash, won four of four starts at 2, while earning $673,970. He won the Texas Classic Futurity (G1) and the Dash For Cash Futurity (G1), both at Lone Star Park.

His dam is the stakes-placed former broodmare of the year A Tempting Chick ($36,953), by Chicks Beduino. She is the dam of seven ROM including Grade 1 winner A Tempting Dash ($541,959), Grade 2 finalist Natalie Dash ($52,681), Hialeah Park track record setter A First Down Chick ($14,057), etc. The second dam is the stakes winning Sir Alibi mare Tempt Me Not.

Flyingwitheagles, a winning son of leading sire Feature Mr Jess and a full-brother to four-time champion Heartswideopen, will stand his first season in 2013.

Heartswideopen earned $1,885,283 with wins in the All American Futurity (G1), Ruidoso Futurity (G1), Rainbow Derby (G1) and Ruidoso Derby (G1).

Flyingwitheagles' dam is the champion and multiple champion producing Dash For Cash mare Dashing Phoebe ($609,553). She is the dam of 16 ROM, and six stakes winners that also include champion Special Phoebe ($139,953), Grade 3 winner and leading sire Furyofthewind ($70,554), Grade 3 winner Dashingfordestiny ($56,961), Grade 3 winner Solid Demand ($35,842) and Restricted Grade 3-placed Especially Phoebe ($24,842). Dashing Phoebe is the granddam of such runners as champion American Runaway ($686,355), stakes winners Corona Ease ($209,820), Famous Phoebe ($189,272), etc.

Flyingwitheagles second dam is the stakes winning Lady Bug's Moon mare Phoebe's Moon Bug, dam of nine ROM including Brace ($107,9587) and Charging Ace ($63,283).
