The 16-year suspension and $40,000 fine that the New Mexico Racing Commission levied on trainer John Stinebaugh for multiple positive tests of the drug Sildenafil has been appealed.
A judge approved a temporary preliminary injunction. This will delay the implementation of the suspension until a future hearing.
