Turf Paradise Cancels Weekend Racing

Two Quarter Horse stakes originally scheduled to be run on Sunday.

Turf Paradise in Phoenix canceled racing on Sunday for the second consecutive day due to track conditions after heavy rains in the area. Sunday’s card was to include three American Quarter Horse events highlighted by the $31,825 Margie Bryan ASOA Futurity and $15,000 Turf Paradise Quarter Horse Championship. The track also canceled the final two races on Friday after the rain started. Track officials have not yet announced when the canceled races might be rescheduled.
