The tentative sale of Yavapai Downs in Prescott Valley, Arizona, has been approved by a bankruptcy court, reports the Prescott-area's The Daily Courier.

The court approved the sale to Gary Miller, the president of the Arizona HBPA, for $5.5 million.

The track did not run races in 2011 or 2012. Miller is reportedly interested in reopening the track for the 2013 season.
