Heavy rains on Friday and Saturday forced the cancellation of the entire race card on Saturday at Zia Park.

Among the races canceled on Saturday was the 9th running of the Grade 3 $55,000 Lubbock Stakes for 3-year-old & up Quarter Horse fillies and mares over 400 yards.

Track management will work with horsemen on a decision to make up the missed races.

The track is expected to run Sunday's card of 12 races including the $60,000 Chaves County Stakes for 3-year-old & up fillies and mares. First post is set for 12:15 p.m. (MST).
