Eye Go Streakin Tries to Back Up Trial Win

Futurity fastest qualifier looks to return strong at Hialeah.

MLP From The Inside Inc.’s Eye Go Streakin tries to step forward from his fastest qualifying trial and maiden win when he starts in the $88,800 FQHRA Stallion Stakes Futurity at Hialeah on Sunday afternoon.

Eye Go Streakin (Streakin Six Cartel-Eye Go Kim by Mr Eye Opener) surprised in his trial at 9-1 odds when he won the second of two trials by a length. His :17.575 mark for 350 yards topped the qualifiers’ list.

The Stan Webb-trained colt made two previous starts in maiden races at Ajax Downs and raced to second- and third-place finishes.

Daniel Barlow’s Spittin Jessie (Spit Curl Jess-Oak College Special by Oak Tree Special) ran for a $10,000 claiming tag two starts ago and then finished second to Eye Go Streakin with the second-fastest qualifying time of :17.755. The Matthew McCart-trained filly won her maiden for a $5,000 tag back in July and has two wins in claiming races from seven starts.

Paul Hamill’s A Tac Bunny (Tac It Like A Man-Marys Shadow by Oak Tree Special) won the first trial by a nose over Bill and Susan Nice’s Zoomininthewind (Furyofthewind-Zoomin Henry by Shazoom). A Tac Bunny has the third-fastest time of :17.783 while Zoomininthewind is the fourth-fastest qualifier at :17.789.

A Tac Bunny scored her third win from four starts while Zoomininthewind raced to her best finish from five starts.
