Paint Me Perry (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Baby Perry by Mr Jess Perry) won the $370,800 Oklahoma Futurity by a length as the 3-2 favorite with a quick :15.077 time for the 300 yards. The Francisco Gonzales-trained colt then came back as the 1-9 choice in his Heritage Place Futurity trial. He supported his many backers with a dominating 1 ¾-length win. Im A Fancy PYC (PYC Paint Your Wagon-First Prize Fancy by Mr Jess Perry) made his first start in a March 7 maiden race at Remington Park and has been busy winning ever since that debut. He won the Remington Park Oklahoma-bred Futurity in his third start when he battled to a head win with a :16.788 time for the 330 yards.
The Joe Thomas Jr.-trained Im A Fancy PYC then rolled to a 2-length win in his Heritage Place Futurity trial while scoring the second-fastest time of :17.476 on the first day of trials.
