Larry Hill avoided a traffic jam as he splashed to his first career win Wednesday night in the $33,300 Les Bois Maiden Frolic at Les Bois Park.
Three horses were disqualified for interference after a bumpy start, but jockey Alan Corson steered Larry Hill down the inside rail to a length win over Last Chancer. Finding Meno was moved from sixth to third after a three-horse disqualification for interference.
Mark Hanson saddled Larry Hill for owner Ben McKinney. He completed the 350 yards over a muddy course under rain showers in :17.830. The 3-year-old TR Dasher gelding, bred in California by Steve Burns DVM, earned $14,985, pushing his career earnings mark past $22,500. He is out of the Chicks Beduino mare Ynot Bar.

Another California-bred, Last Chancer races for owners Tom Close and Kattie Nipko. Blaine Hadley conditions the Foose filly out of Elan Last, by Separatist. Edward C. Allred is the breeder and Jesus Virgen had the riding assignment. Last Chancer earned $6,660 for the effort.
Finding Meno, a Finding Nemo homebred for Mark and Holly Curtis picked up the show check of $3,330 after getting move up in the official order of finish. Monty Arrossa trains with Never Marin riding the 3-year-old gelding from the Streakin Dash mare Streakin Rascal.
Completing the official order of finish were Super Cooper, Vandi Dani, Sold On Dynasty and Harvey Johnson. Money Hawk and Whiskey Talk were both scratched.
