M and G Farms Inc.’s PM Runaway Dash tries to move forward after a second-place finish in the $27,000 Biscayne Stakes when she starts in the $25,000 Sparkling Tip Stakes for 3-year-olds on Sunday at Hialeah Park.

PM Runaway Dash (Heza Fast Dash-Runaway Lady Oak by Runaway Winner) has been in improving form since finishing second by a nose for a $10,000 claiming price back in December. The filly then won a $16,000 conditioned allowance race and was second, beaten by a half length, in the 250-yard Biscayne.

The Jesus Garrido-trained filly has finished on the board in six of eight starts.

Bryon Gardner’s A Tac (Tac It Like A Man-Corona Carina by Corona Cartel) makes her stakes debut. The Judd Kearl-trained filly won her maiden in her second start in November at Lone Star Park and has done well at the next level at Hialeah. She was second in a non-winners-of-two allowance test and then won at the level by a half length in her most recent effort.

Daniel Barlow’s Spittin Jessie (Spit Curl Jess-Oak College Special by Oak Tree Special) broke her maiden for a $5,000 claiming tag last July and now has appeared in two stakes races at Hialeah. She was third in the $88,000 FQHRA Stallion Futurity and then fourth in the Biscayne.
