REG106. HORSES NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

  • REG106.1 horses produced by any cloning process. Cloning is defined as any method by which the genetic material of an unfertilized egg or an embryo is removed and replaced by genetic material taken from another organism, added to/with genetic material from another organism or otherwise modified by any means in order to produce a live foal;

  • REG106.2 offspring resulting from an Appendix registered sire or dam bred to another Appendix registered horse;

  • REG106.3 offspring resulting from an Appendix registered sire or dam bred to a Thoroughbred sire or dam;

  • REG106.4 a horse having white markings beyond the prescribed lines as listed in REG109.8 shall be subject to cancellation where the registration application fails to indicate or misrepresents the horse's actual markings and the horse cannot be parentage verified;

  • REG106.5 foals born on or after January 1, 2007, and testing homozygous positive for HYPP (H/H).
