From AQHA: Each state or provincial affiliate will submit three state qualifiers per class to AQHA. If there are not three qualifiers in a particular class the affiliate may move that "slot" to another class; however, no more than six state qualifiers will be allowed in any particular class.
The Montana Quarter Horse Association has set forth these requirements in order to exhibit at the AQHA Novice Championship shows: We feel since it appears we will exhibit at our regional championship, Region Two, show the previous year we need to allow the top three point earners in each discipline of Novice youth and Novice amateur, to qualify from that year. Also, than in the current year of the Novice Championship show, MQHA would also allow the top three point earners in each discipline up to the deadline for the qualifying period of that year. Each qualifier will not be limited to the specific disciplined which they qualified but will be allowed to show in as many classes as they choose as long space for our state is available. If, by chance in a class the exhibitor-slots limit is exceeded, the Montana slots will be filled according to the exhibitor’s points. The highest point earners will fill the allowed slots.
