The All American Quarter Horse Congress is proud to announce a brand new futurity program in 2013: The Congress Breeder’s Challenge Futurity – Halter Division. This futurity program will include a brand new halter event at the 47th annual Quarter Horse Congress, held October 4-27, 2013, at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio.

“We have a number of Ohio Quarter Horse Association directors and exhibitors that are very passionate about both the halter discipline and the Congress,” said Dr. Scott Myers, Ohio Quarter Horse Association executive director. “We worked together to come up with a new and exciting program to showcase the Halter industry, and we believe that the Congress Breeder’s Challenge Futurity – Halter Division will be the premier event for breeder’s and exhibitors in 2013.”

Breeding Stallions

First, breeding stallion owners will enroll their stallion each year to make all get born that year eligible to be nominated to the Congress Breeder’s Challenge Futurity – Halter Division. Enrollment will be $1,500 each year, due February 1, however in 2013, breeding stallion owners can enroll for a reduced fee of $750 with an extended deadline of March 15. One hundred percent of all stallion enrollment fees will be paid back, and there is no limit to the number of stallions that can be enrolled.

Enrollment forms are available for download at www.oqha.com/aaqhc.
