Thirty-six stallions enroll in the Congress Breeder's Challenge Futurity – Halter Division.

The Congress Breeder’s Challenge Futurity – Halter Division, a new halter event held at the 47th All American Quarter Horse Congress, is proud to announce that 36 stallions have enrolled in the program so far this year.

All get born during the year the stallion is enrolled are eligible to be nominated to the Congress Breeder’s Challenge Futurity – Halter Division. The stallion enrollment period ended March 15, with a total of 36 stallions enrolled. One hundred percent of the stallions enrollment fees (a total of $27,000) will be paid back. Stallions can continue to enroll through July 1, but will have to pay late fees.

Weanlings of these stallions are eligible to be nominated for weanling fillies, open and non-pro and weanling stallions/geldings, open and non-pro held at this year’s Congress. Nomination this year also makes these get eligible to compete in yearling classes at Congress in 2014.

Weanling entries include a $100 nomination fee due April 1, which makes the foal eligible for weanling and yearling classes, as well as a $150 sustaining payment due June 1 and a $250 final payment due August 1.

Entry forms are available in the Congress Futurity & Sweepstakes Entry Book, which was mailed at the end of February. Forms are also available online at www.oqha.com/aaqhc.
