The Arizona Quarter Horse Association is proud to announce the Arizona Fall Championship Show, slated for September 25-29 at West World in Scottsdale, Arizona. This show will replace, as well as continue, the tradition of a quality event occurring in Arizona in the fall. For many years, The Scottsdale Classic was the event. Jerry Kimmel elected to not continue his fabulous event. AzQHA assumed the dates and has established an exciting new format for the show.

At the Arizona Fall Championship, exhibitors will show to two judges the first time, and the second time exhibitors show, it will be in a championship round with four judges, for a total of six AQHA shows. All awards and added money will be paid on the championship round. An overall champion will be named and presented the championship award, an embroidered leather bomber jacket, and title. All exhibitors entered in the respective AQHA class will be eligible for the added money in selected classes. Added money will be divided evenly among the four judges and paid on the placings of each judge. No additional entry fees or deadlines necessary to be eligible for added money.

The show will also feature a one-fee structure. For $300, one stall, AQHA drug test fees, office fees, a back number, free warm-up (time allowing), and entry into any and/or all of the added money classes listed below, as well as six AQHA shows.

"If you would like to show in Novice amateur trail, then enter the same horse in amateur western pleasure, as well as the $2,000-added Green western riding and a warm-up in western pleasure, and your daughter would like to show the same horse, too, but in Novice youth western pleasure and youth western riding, you can do it all for $300," said Doug Huls, Sun Circuit director.

Not included in the $300 fee are National Reining Horse Association- and National Snaffle Bit Association-approved classes, as well as the special event trail/western riding on September 25.
