Exhibitors traveled from 20 states and Canada for the Iowa Show Circuit, June 3-8, in Des Moines, Iowa, at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. The show saw just more than 9,000 entries, an increase from 2012, which sported 8,200 entries. Show management said they look forward to a strong 2014.

A sold-out show by May 1, show management worked to find stalls to accommodate a few displaced exhibitors traveling up from the cancelled Oklahoma Redbud Spectacular.

On Friday night, exhibitors were treated to AQHA Professional Horseman Stephanie Lynn’s book release party for “A Lifetime Affair: Lessons Learned Living my Passion." The party featured a taco bar, margaritas and root beer floats – a refreshing respite in a long show day.

Judges for the event were Brian Ellsworth, Deborah Kail, Sandy Jirkovsky, Jon Barry, John Boxell, Randy Alderson, Keith Longacre, John Lawrence, Tom Robertson, Bob Kail, Leo Fourre and Lisa Krohn.
