Smart Chic Olena is remembered for a lot of things, including the versatility of his offspring. His foals have collectively earned more than $11 million in money won in National Reining Horse, National Cutting Horse and National Reined Cow Horse association competition.

The late sire has yet another feat to hang his cowboy hat on, all thanks to his get: Smart Chic Olena is NRHA’s newest $6 million sire.

A son of Smart Little Lena and out the Gay Bar King mare Gary Sugar Chic, Smart Chic Olena was foaled in 1985 by breeder Emily E. Woodall of New Caney, Texas. The sorrel stallion died June 24, 2012.
