Qualify through your affiliate for the AQHA Novice championships.

Qualifying Period: July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015

  • All Level 1 (Novice) Youth and Level 1 (Novice) Amateur exhibitors will earn state affiliate show points at any Pennsylvania Quarter Horse Association-approved show during the qualifying period.
  • The exhibitor must be a member in good standing of AQHA and PQHA.
  • The exhibitor must nominate for PQHA Level 1 (Novice) points. Point-nomination rules will follow the rules as outline for year-end award point nominations. For complete eligibility, exhibitor must nominate for both 2014 and 2015 year-end points. There are no additional forms required for Level 1 (Novice) Championship points to be tabulated.
  • PQHA will tally the total points for each exhibitor in each of the classes.
  • PQHA will submit the top three point-earning exhibitors in each of the Level 1 (Novice) disciplines being held at the Novice Championship shows.
  • Points are compiled on a one-horse, one-exhibitor basis.
  • State points will be awarded based on the number of horses in a class and the exhibitor placing. The maximum number of points earned in one class is nine.
