Qualify through your affiliate for the AQHA Novice championships.

Qualifying Period: May 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013

  • Points will be computed in the same manner as points for year-end awards.
  • The top three individuals in each Novice class offered at the Novice Championship shows that are not nationally qualified will be invited to the Novice Championship shows as a Virginia Quarter Horse Association qualifier. 
  • No invitations will be extended past the top three VQHA qualifiers. 
  • There will only be invitations extended in classes where there was participation. 
  • No invitations will be sent or transferred to exhibitors who did not show in said classes, and were not in the top three state qualifiers for that particular class.

In order to better organize those eligible for the 2013 Novice championships, VQHA asks all members to submit a letter of intent.
