Qualify through your affiliate for the AQHA Novice championships.

From AQHA: Each state or provincial affiliate will submit three state qualifiers per class to AQHA. If there are not three qualifiers in a particular class the affiliate may move that "slot" to another class; however, no more than six state qualifiers will be allowed in any particular class. 

Qualifying Period: May 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013

  • The top three placing from the May Trophy Circuit
    • In all events except showmanship, horsemanship and hunt seat equitation, with those events being the top six taken as noted below 
  • The top six in showmanship, horsemanship and hunt seat equitation from the top six circuit champions at the May Trophy Circuit held in Monroe, Washington
  • All state qualifiers must be Washington State Quarter Horse Association members and signed up for year-end awards. Should anyone who does not meet the membership requirements place in the top three/six, the next qualified member shall be invited by the state. 
  • Should a Novice class not be offered, the exhibitor may show in the corresponding amateur or youth class to attempt to qualify, the exhibitor must petition in writing prior to May 31 for consideration to be invited by the state.  
  • All invitations will be emailed directly from AQHA. Please be sure that your affiliate and AQHA have your current email information.
