Qualify through your affiliate for the AQHA Novice championships.

Qualifying Period: May 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013

All Novice youth and Novice amateurs will earn state affiliate show points at any Alabama Quarter Horse Association-approved show.
The participant must be a member in good standing with ALQHA/Alabama Quarter Horse Youth Association and AQHA.
ALQHA/ALQHYA will tally the total points for each exhibitor in each of their classes shown based on the ALQHA points system shown in the 2011 ALQHA bylaws.
ALQHA/ALQHYA will invite the top three high point-earning exhibitors in each of the Novice disciplines being held at the AQHA Novice Championship shows.
Points are compiled on a one-horse, one-exhibitor basis.
In the event of a tie, the exhibitor placing in the most shows will break the tie.
