Qualify for the 2014 Adequan Select World Championship Show before May 31.

American Quarter Horse Select exhibitors still have time to earn the last of the points needed to qualify for the 2014 Adequan Select World Championship Show August 22-30 in Amarillo. The Adequan Select World is the American Quarter Horse Association’s world championship show for amateur exhibitors age 50 and older.

The May 31 qualifying deadline is approaching soon. However, there are plenty of shows between now and then to get qualified. Visit www.aqha.com/showschedule for a schedule of the locations and dates of shows across the country. A listing of the shows can also be found in the latest edition of The American Quarter Horse Journal.

For exhibitors preparing for shows, be sure to read AQHA Internet Editor Tara Matsler’s blog, “Your Spring Horse-Show Checklist.” Her blog discusses a variety of topics, including how to plot your show season using the online AQHA show calendar, finding your level, as well as test-driving a few practice patterns.
