The AQHA World Championship Collegiate Horse Judging Contest awarded $8,000 in grants to colleges and universities, plus many other awards, on November 18 during the AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.
The Judging Contest is sponsored by AQHA Corporate Partner Merial.
For the contest, each senior college or junior college may send two five-member teams, and each junior college may send two four-member teams. Twelve classes are judged, including four halter and eight performance classes.

AQHA awarded $2,000 in scholarships to the universities with the top senior and junior division teams. More than $100,000 in scholarship grants and awards have been given to date at AQHA World Shows.
