Competitors can now verify their qualification to the 2013 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show. The list of qualifiers to date will be updated every Friday on the Ford Youth World website, or www.aqha.com/youthworld. The current list is based on results from all shows prior to January 1, 2013, as well as shows that have been worked by the AQHA Competition Department thus far this year.

To view the list of qualifiers to date for the Ford Youth World, visit the Competitors Resources section of www.aqha.com/youthworld. Ford Youth World exhibitors should also note the extension of the qualifying deadline to Monday, May 27, 2013; the original qualifying period was to end April 30. Points earned from May 1-27 will also count for national qualification to the 2014 Ford Youth World shows.

“We want to encourage exhibitors to check the qualifiers list on a weekly basis, as the list will be updated every Friday,” said Tom Persechino, AQHA executive director of competition and breed integrity. “The availability of this list, as well as the extension of the Ford Youth World qualifying deadline, should give competitors ample time to ensure they are qualified.”

AQHA will start sending invitations to competitors who had nationally qualified through December 31. Youth exhibitors who receive packets can begin sending their entries to their state youth advisers and ultimately to AQHA for processing. Youth who nationally qualified after December 31 will receive their invitations later, but will still have plenty of time to send their entries to state youth advisers and to AQHA.
